Overview

NEC Electronics is one of the leaders in the existing DVD solution and is aiming to offer great solutions for the Next-Generation DVD solutions by working closely with the proponents of this market. The chips are capable of analog video output, graphics processing, ATA I/F, and CPU functions. Thanks to these features, simultaneous HDD recording and DVD playback can be achieved on a single hardware.
